Numbers are the enemy in Neon War. Glowing orbs drift in, each marked with a count that tells you how many hits it takes before it bursts, and your cannon has to deal with them before they become a problem.
You drag to slide the cannon left and right, and it fires as you position it. The bigger the number, the more attention an orb needs, so deciding where to aim is the core skill. On a touch screen you simply drag with a finger, while on a computer you click and drag with the mouse. The bright colours suit the name, and rounds are short and easy to restart.
