Leaves are your only ammunition in Insect Intruders, and the tree behind you depends on every one of them. This top-down arcade shooter follows the pattern of the old space-invader classics: waves of bugs creep forward, and you pick them off before they reach the bottom.
There are destructible shields to hide behind, though they wear away, and several enemy types to learn. Steer and fire with the keyboard, or use your finger on a touchscreen, whichever suits your device. The challenge is to see how many waves you can stop, and every run tells you something new about enemy patterns.
