About Ranger Action

A lone ranger, a shotgun and a crowd of zombies coming from both the ground and the sky: that is the setup in Ranger Action, a side-scrolling running shooter. You keep moving forward, hopping past obstacles while firing at whatever lurches or flies into your path.

Coins, items and improvements are scattered along the route, so every run gives you a reason to grab more. The ranger also has special skills named firestorm, cold ice and lightning, which add some flair to the shooting. Jump with the Up arrow, fire with the Spacebar, or simply tap the screen on a phone or tablet.

How to play Ranger Action

Hit the Up arrow to jump over obstacles.
Tap Spacebar to fire the shotgun at zombies on the ground and overhead.
On a touch screen, tap the screen to play instead of using the keys.
Pick up coins, items and improvements as you run past them.
Use the ranger's special skills (firestorm, cold ice, lightning) when they come up, and keep going as far as you can.

Tips for Ranger Action

Clear flying zombies early so they cannot catch you in the middle of a jump.
Fire in short bursts and keep your eyes on the next obstacle instead of only the enemy.
Detour for coins and improvements when it is safe; they are the long-term payoff of each run.
