About Heads Mayhem

Up to four friends can crowd around one keyboard for Heads Mayhem, a platform shooter where the goal is to shove your rivals off the edge. Everyone starts with five lives, and the guns you carry are how you create that push.

There are eleven funny characters, eight maps and a choice of weapons, plus single-player and two-, three- and four-player modes. The RPG is the strongest gun, but its backward kick can send you flying too, so it needs care. Each player has a separate set of keys, which is what makes sharing a single computer possible. Call a few friends and see who lasts.

How to play Heads Mayhem

1. Pick a mode: single player, or two, three or four players.
2. Player 1 moves with the arrow keys, fires with M and uses a bomb with N.
3. Player 2 moves with WASD, fires with H and uses a bomb with G.
4. Player 3 uses the I, J, K and L keys to move, P to fire and O for a bomb; Player 4 uses numpad keys, NUM 0 to fire and NUM 1 for a bomb.
5. Shoot opponents to push them off the platforms and take their lives.

Tips for Heads Mayhem

• Be careful with the RPG; its push-back can knock you off the platform.
• Stay near the middle of the map so a single hit does not send you over the edge.
• Keep an eye on your remaining lives; you start with five.
