What if the volleyball were a bomb? That odd idea drives Extreme Volleyball, a 2D game where two robots knock a lit explosive back and forth over the net. The aim is to make it blow up on your opponent's side of the court. It goes off if it hits the floor, gets touched more than three times or the fuse burns out.
There is a settings menu where you can change how many bombs are in play, the length of the fuse, the difficulty and where your robot stands. Those options let you make matches calm or chaotic. The keys are simple: left and right to move, and up or space to bounce. A keyboard on a computer is the best way to play.
