Soldiers on one side, dinosaurs on the other, and a top-down map where both want the same objective. Dinogen Online is a quick 2D multiplayer shooter with several game modes, a range of maps and a good number of weapons to try.

You can take the human side or the dinosaur side, depending on the mode, and the objectives give matches a clear purpose beyond simply collecting kills. Earning XP opens up fresh guns, dinosaurs, gear and more, so there is a sense of progress between rounds. The control list is long, with sprinting, reloading, grenades, melee and support items, but WASD and the mouse handle most of the fighting.
