The cannon fires, but the real work happens after the ball leaves the barrel. Amazing Cannon is a logic puzzle where you send colorful balls toward a container on the far side of the field, using the devices placed along the way to change their direction.
Shots fired straight at the target rarely land, so you have to think about bounces and redirects. You have more balls than strictly needed, so a few misses are forgivable, and you finish a level by bringing the number on the container down to zero.
