Portals and launch pads turn the arena into a playground in SpaceGuard.io, a multiplayer first-person shooter with a sci-fi look. The action takes place across four handmade space maps, and the pace is closer to old-school arena shooters than to slow tactical games.

You can play deathmatch on your own or team deathmatch with others, and character skins let you personalise your fighter. Movement is fast: WASD or the arrow keys to run, Space to jump, Shift to sprint and C to crouch. Left click fires, right click aims, R reloads, and the number keys 1 to 5 switch weapons. A keyboard and mouse on a computer give the best control.
