If you know the old fifteen-style sliding puzzle, you already understand the basics. This version changes one thing: instead of lining up numbers in order, you rebuild a specific pattern.
Tiles share a grid with one empty space, and every move slides a neighbouring tile into that gap. The target is a picture of colours, not a numbered sequence, which means you scan the board differently and often spot shortcuts that numbers hide. Some will find that simpler, others trickier; it comes down to taste. A mouse click or finger tap moves a tile, and since there is a logic tag and a kids tag attached, the whole thing stays friendly and low-pressure.
