A spooky night, a sleepy village and a parade of ghosts, witches and vampires marching toward it. Halloween Ghouls turns that picture into a compact tower defense puzzle where your only job is smart placement.

You pick a tower from the bar running along the base of the display, then drop it onto a grassy patch beside the monsters' route. Once your defenses look solid, you start the wave and watch how well the plan holds. If something slips through, you learn where the weak spot was and rearrange for the next attempt. Clicking and touching both work, so it plays nicely on phones too.

How to play Halloween Ghouls

1. Click or tap a tower in the lower bar to select it.
2. Click or tap a grassy area to place the tower there.
3. Add more towers until the route to the village is well covered.
4. Hit Start Wave and watch your defenses work.
5. Adjust your layout between waves to stop anything that leaked through.

Tips for Halloween Ghouls

• Place towers near bends in the path so enemies stay inside their range for longer.
• Spread different tower types along the route instead of stacking them all in one spot.
• Watch which monsters get past you each wave and reinforce that stretch first.
